Photoshop ideas

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by nmoscardinimoreauweb2009 on 02-02-2009

I have been using Photoshop since version 2.5 ( that’s way back in 1992). I consider myself an experienced user, but not an expert. Its a constant evolving medium that has always fascinated me. The geek that I am, I look forward to my 30% coupon from Borders in my email box.  If I- know -now -what -I -know- then, I should have bought stock in Amazon and Borders, (evidenced by the volumes of books that I have collected).

I picked  a new book called The Art and Design of Photoshop by Steve Caplin. Its a how -to- guide special effects on poster, book design and other effects. Once I get moving on this, I will post some of my work to show you what you do in the program. But until then…

Here are some resources you might find useful if you are interested in graphics: National Assoication of Photoshop Professionals, www.photoshopuser.com. Layers magazine, http://www.layersmagazine.com/. The Web 2.0 conference is coming, here is the link: http://www.web2expo.com/webexsf2009/public/content/home.

I also picked up a magzine and its feature article is web 3.0- Already! I was just getting into 2.0. Better get moving…

Yahoo! Avatars

Yes, I could modify my avatar to look more like me, I may do that in a later post, but I think I will keep her figure.

Can I get the link to that Web 3.0 article?

Typical that just as the masses are catching up to version 2.0, 3.0 is already around the bend. Couldn’t we at least have called it 2.1?
