I know I am a little out of order- but I discovered something new I wanted to share. With all this technology around us, how can we bring it to the classroom, or use it to train the trainer?
I have always been interested in e-learning and Adobe has just launched its latest version of it e-learning suite. Click here to see the page and view the video.
I have seen Adobe Captivate first hand. You can give a demo, lets say Excel, and record your voice and a video of you using the program. Then your video clip of your lesson is saved and able to be viewed by your learners. I have purchased DVDs with these video clips and its great for the learner as you can stop and rewind the clip so you do not miss any part of the lesson.
I am familar using Flash and Dreamweaver. I have pariticpated in web conferences but not designing them. I am really interested in learning how to use Contribute and Captivate. Someday, I would love to take the leap and create effective e-learning courses.
